Since one wave has a displacement of 60 cm above equilibrium and the other has a displacement of 80 cm above equilibrium, we can add them to find the resulting displacement. Resulting displacement = 60 cm + 80 cm = 140 cm Therefore, the resulting displacement above equilibrium at the moment when the two waves meet is 140 cm.
